A credit card theft took place at Planet Fitness in Rocky River.

After a credit card thief entered a locker at Planet Fitness Rocky River, Iowa and took a patron's wallet and credit cards, a mystery hangs over the Planet Fitness. A Planet Fitness patron reported the theft of their credit cards and wallet on March 23, shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Detroit Road. Police don't believe the person involved.

The thief was described as a brown-haired woman who was seen working out at the gym. The female thief then broke into a locker at the Planet Fitness in Rocky River, stealing her wallet and car keys. The wallet had more than $500 worth of cash. The thief also stole many other items from the victim including her cell phone.

Other Planet Fitness locations had the same incident. A man stole his membership card from him overnight and also took his belongings. Police are currently looking for him. Planet Fitness has separate facilities for men and women, as well as programs for transgender members. The gym has been the victim of numerous thefts. Some employees have been quite blatant about stealing belongings. However, others have refused their identities.

A man's wallet was taken at a Planet Fitness gym in Chelsea. The thief stole his school ID and credit cards. He went back to the same Planet Fitness, Chelsea two days later. The thief stole a male's wallet, which contained his driver’s License, credit cards MetroCard, Planet Fitness ID and his credit cards. Despite multiple reports of these thefts at Planet Fitness the police have not been capable to catch the thief.
